Project Manager – Telecommunications Infrastructure

Role Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects, with a strong focus on financial management, project scheduling, and cross-functional coordination. This role ensures projects are delivered in alignment with customer contracts, timelines, and quality standards. The Project Manager will apply core project management principles—including Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring, Controlling, and Closing—while proactively identifying and mitigating risks and keeping stakeholders informed.

Responsibilities

• Understand project scope, goals, timelines, and expected run rates.
• Coordinate resources and logistics to meet project requirements.
• Participate in deployment meetings as a subject matter expert.
• Maintain accurate and reportable project data in internal and customer systems.
• Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
• Resolve conflicts and drive issue resolution across teams and partners.
• Maintain financial accountability across all assigned projects.
• Manage risks, scope changes, dependencies, and work orders in line with contractual practices.
• Escalate issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• PMP Certification preferred.

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Proven experience managing project budgets and financial metrics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (working with and organizing large data sets).

Additional Skills & Knowledge

• Experience in telecommunications or related construction/infrastructure projects (fiber, antennas, power, right-of-way deployment).
• Understanding of small cell projects and wireless infrastructure.
• Ability to identify workflow issues, critical paths, and implement solutions.
• Strong financial and analytical skills to manage project budgets.
• Customer-facing project management experience is highly valued.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Visio, and Power BI is a plus.

Work Environment

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously across different regions.
• Collaborate with vendors, partners, and stakeholders at the national level.
• Hybrid schedule may be required depending on project needs.
