We’re growing — and looking for a proven B2B sales professional to grow with us.

Ascent Consulting is hiring a Professional Sales Specialist to help us continue delivering high-impact solutions to construction businesses across the country. Our clients come to us for guidance, clarity, and results — and we’re building a team that reflects that same standard of excellence.

This is a hybrid position where you'll be working with warm, qualified leads — no cold calling required. Your role is to lead the first conversation, qualify or disqualify based on fit, and guide serious prospects through our consultative sales process. Every engagement is different, so if you’re someone who thrives on problem-solving and helping business owners make smart, strategic decisions — this is your kind of role.

We’re not looking for entry-level. We’re looking for someone with a track record of selling professional services in the $100K+ range , confidently and consistently, in a B2B environment .

You should be comfortable selling to owners, executives, and leadership teams. You should know how to ask the right questions, build trust, and help the right clients say yes to the right solution — without pressure, hype, or gimmicks.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct discovery and qualification calls with warm leads
  • Use consultative sales techniques (NEPQ or similar) to uncover needs and pain points
  • Disqualify poor-fit opportunities early, and guide good-fit prospects through the process
  • Sell a variety of services including:
  • Operational Assessments
  • Process & Workflow Optimization
  • Strategic Leadership & Planning Support
  • Procore Implementation and Support
  • Fractional Executive Services
  • Technology Assessment and Optimization Services
  • Custom Consulting Engagements
  • Collaborate with our consulting team to scope, price, and propose tailored solutions
  • Maintain detailed records and accurate forecasts in our CRM (HubSpot)
  • Hit and exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience selling high-ticket ($100K+) B2B professional services
  • 5+ years of success in a consultative sales role
  • Strong qualification and discovery skills
  • Experience selling to C-level executives, owners, and senior decision-makers
  • Excellent communicator — on video, phone, and in writing
  • Comfortable leading complex sales conversations with clarity and professionalism
  • Local to the Atlanta area, able to adhere to a hybrid in-office schedule.
  • Familiarity with the construction industry is a plus, but not required
  • Proficiency with CRM tools like HubSpot is preferred

Compensation:

  • Base salary: $36,000
  • On-Target Earnings: $150,000–$200,000+ (uncapped commission)
  • Warm inbound leads provided
  • No cold prospecting
