Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented, and dynamic Production Manager to oversee our assembly operations within the manufacturing division. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving excellence across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) performance metrics.

You will lead a team of 35–50 employees across multiple shifts , including production leads, ensuring seamless execution of production processes while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion a physically and mentally safe work environment, with a focus on achieving zero incidents.
  • Foster a culture where employees are energized, motivated, and committed to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Meet and exceed performance targets in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
  • Ensure production plans are met, supporting timely delivery and product availability.
  • Drive labor and line efficiency to meet cost and productivity goals.
  • Lead cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Develop workforce capabilities through structured training and development programs.
  • Lead Lean transformation efforts, including future state mapping and process adherence.
  • Collaborate with planning teams to ensure effective resource allocation and execution.
  • Promote systematic problem-solving using tools such as 5 Whys and 3S; lead Kaizen events.
  • Implement strategies to reduce lead times and improve production flow.
  • Set clear goals for team members, provide necessary resources, and support their development.
  • Apply talent management practices to identify and develop key talent.
  • Deliver on Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets and manage team performance accordingly.
  • Gain a deep understanding of product line processes, identifying bottlenecks and risks.
  • Monitor KPIs to ensure targets are met and sustained through daily management practices.
  • Evaluate and refine process changes to maximize operational benefits.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; Master’s degree in Engineering, Technical, or Business discipline preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in operations, ideally within electronics, medical devices, or biotechnology.
  • Proven P&L responsibility and strong understanding of financial and operational KPIs.
  • Demonstrated success in continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.
  • Strong project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of Bills of Materials (BoM) and production routings.
  • Experience with cGMP, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 13485:2016 standards is highly desirable.
