Job Description

We are representing an industry leading FORTUNE 500 industrial manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Plant Manager due to a recent promotion. This role will be responsible for leading World Class Manufacturing efforts while assuming Profit/Loss ownership of a $70M operation.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Reporting to the Divisional VP/GM, this will be the top position on this campus where the Plant Operations Manager will be responsible for managing (4) salaried direct reports in an 70 employee foundry environment.
• Complete ownership over the plant manufacturing, engineering, quality, and maintenance.
• Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and department business plan goals.
• Establish Production KPI's, and deliverables
• Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues.
• Direct department process improvements and corrective actions.
• Provide key input into the development of the department strategic business plan and identify and track key measurables to support the department business plan goals.
• Note: This plant has less than 100 employees (internal cost center) supplying material to other NA sites. This is a critical operation.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technical field is preferred for consideration.
• Candidate must have at least 2-5 years of Operations/Production/Engineering leadership experience for consideration
• Candidate should be well versed in Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, and/or Continuous Improvement with strong approach to problem solving
• Metals/Foundry manufacturing experienced preferred.
