Our challenge

We are seeking a highly experienced Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) to lead complex Pega development projects, design scalable Pega solutions, and guide technical teams. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Pega platform architecture, design, and implementation, along with strong leadership and communication skills.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Pittsburgh, PA/Dallas, TX is $130k - $140k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end Pega application design, development, and deployment, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
  • Architect scalable and robust Pega solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Mentor and guide Pega developers and systems architects, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Conduct reviews of technical deliverables and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay updated with the latest Pega features, frameworks, and industry best practices.
  • Document architectural decisions, designs, and technical specifications.
  • Support testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities.

Requirements:

  • Certified Pega LSA with 3+ years of experience as an Architect.
  • Strong knowledge of Pega PRPC™ platform, rules, data models, integration, UI, and decision strategies.
  • Experience in designing and developing complex Pega applications.
  • Familiarity with Pega CSSA, LSA, or similar certifications.
  • Hands-on experience with Pega integrations, microservices, and REST APIs.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor junior staff, and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Required Pega Certification: Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA).
