Job Description

THE ROLE

You are the first-person employees and visitors see walking into Dr. Martens Corporate Headquarters! You provide a warm welcome and ensure everyone is taken care of. You often go above and beyond by providing exceptional office support to the Executive team and supporting a variety of office functions including HR. This position is required to be in office Monday-Thursday from 9:00AM–4:00PM. You also get the Dr. Martens brand and are excited to support the team in enhancing Dr. Martens’ footprint in the Americas region.

This is a temporary contract role with an anticipated end date of September 15th, 2025.

  • Answering and routing all incoming front-desk calls and visitors. This includes routine questions and forwarding solicitation calls appropriately and answering security front-door.
  • Utilizing all your administrative resources so that we are current within our systems, as well as coordinating with other departments as necessary.
  • Processing mail including outgoing and in-coming shipments, courier services and general mail delivery.
  • Creating UPS labels for internal shipments and for our remote employees.
  • Ordering, stocking, and maintaining office, shipping, coffee and vending supplies.
  • Placing supply orders for employee needs.
  • Preparing on-boarding packets and/or other welcome arrangements for new employees.
  • Assisting with catering, supplies, and other needs for business meetings and/or employee related events.
  • Routing building maintenance requests to the appropriate party, including calling third party contractors as needed.
  • Maintaining reception area and office supply closet.
  • General office projects and duties as assigned.

  • Proven office reception experience, including multi-line phone experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Positive approach with a helpful and relationship-oriented demeanour.
  • Ability to communicate clearly via phone, email, and in person.
  • Professional grammar / phone etiquette / written word and ability to interact with visitors and employees in an outgoing, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Proven ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects from more than one person simultaneously.
  • High level of organization, efficiency, and punctuality.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use good business judgment. Is discreet and trustworthy.
  • Ability to move up to 30 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to move up to 50 pounds on a cart occasionally.
  • Ability to complete repetitive folding and sorting by hand.
  • International/domestic travel required: 0%
  • Ability to work at a standard computer set up 28+ hours per week, with or without accommodations.

PAY DETAILS

  • $21.00 per hour
