We’re currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Paralegal to join our Miami team. Position Overview:

The Assistant Paralegal will work closely with our experienced paralegals to support all aspects of litigation. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, highly organized, and ready to contribute to a high-performing team. The position requires the ability to bill 15–20 hours

per week .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist paralegals with drafting, organizing, and managing legal documents.
  • Help collect and organize discovery materials, medical records, and exhibits.
  • Support scheduling of hearings, depositions, mediations, and other case events.
  • Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files.
  • Assist with trial prep tasks such as assembling binders and document sets.
  • Communicate with vendors, experts, and other parties as directed.
  • Track billable time accurately and meet weekly billing targets.
  • Perform general administrative support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 0–2 years of experience in a law firm or legal setting preferred.
  • Interest in insurance defense or litigation support.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Paralegal certificate or coursework in legal studies is a plus but not required.
