Your ‘day to day’:

Responsibilities:

The Omnichannel Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing omnichannel sales strategies which support key brand and e-retail customer initiatives that will drive sales and market share growth. This role supports the retail sales leader and ecommerce team by ensuring in-store initiatives are executed flawlessly online, complimentary extension of shelf dropship SKUs are deployed to further grow sales and brand performance, and newness is executed on-time and with excellence. To build these activation plans, this person must be able to assess and integrate business opportunities and key activation strategies, driving maximum return for Gathr brands, at their assigned accounts. This person must have demonstrated experience building customer relationships, executing ecommerce/shopper media including search, and other online media, and driving influence with cross functional teams. Travel required, +/- 10%.

  • Marries brand and retailer category objectives to build customer-specific online strategies that achieve business objectives at assigned accounts, leveraging shopper insights and past program performance data.
  • Launches in-store SKUs online, coordinating with Retail sales leader. Launches online-only SKUs with excellence. Runs promotions and advertising to grow online sales performance.
  • Develops and executes omnichannel programming like 1st- and 3rd-party digital programs, Social through Retailer Channels, Digital Coupons, Programmatic Banners, Retail Search, online website campaigns, etc.
  • Leverages external brand partnerships to maximize program impact, as needed
  • Briefs creative and execution partners on activations, providing clear guidance on success criteria, P&L impact, and ensures messaging aligns with program objectives, brand style guides and retailer specifications.
  • Establishes KPIs; utilizes campaign analytics, customer consumption and share data to optimize media and measure results that positively drive sales/share growth, plus the Retailer’s category.
  • Ensures cost estimates have been approved by internal stakeholders and activation plans have been socialized.
  • Supports customer meetings with omnichannel strategies, plans, program results and other sales tools.
  • Supports budget tracking and communication with Finance partners and invoice processing.
  • Participates in the customer planning process and the integrated marketing communications process to influence and build actionable growth plans for our brands and customers.
  • Build trusted partnerships, both internally and externally, to achieve shared goals. Internal stakeholders include Ecommerce, Sales, Business Unit Leads, Category Insights, Customer Development, Forecasting, and Strategy as well as Finance.
  • Plays a critical role in educating internal stakeholders on program performance as well as incremental opportunities as they pertain to their respective accounts.
  • Understands key drivers of activation performance and proactively explores new capabilities and activation partners that can deliver on business objectives.
  • Develops strong understanding of Retailer and Ecommerce strategies, category dynamics and consumer behavior
  • Helps the team deliver volume and profit expectations
  • Assigned accounts include, but are not limited to: Costco Next, Wayfair, Macy’s, various marketplaces, various outdoor retailer accounts.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Strategy, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in CX, digital transformation, omnichannel experience, or customer journey optimization
  • Experience in leading digital innovation projects and system enhancement initiatives
  • Strong background in product management, digital strategy, and team leadership
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Strong technical knowledge of digital ecosystems, customer journey automation, and omnichannel integrations
  • Proficiency in leveraging automation and personalization tools to enhance consumer interactions across digital and F2F environments
  • Expertise in analyzing omnichannel data, identifying drop-off points, and improving conversion rates
  • Ability to extract and translate insights into CX improvements and system enhancements
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects across multiple teams and business units, ensuring smooth execution and alignment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills to drive collaboration across product, business, and IT teams
