Elevate Therapy Center is a growing pediatric therapy company headquartered in Orlando, Florida we're looking for dynamic and creative Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team.

We work with infants, children, and teenagers in a clinic setting and we're looking for therapists who want to change the lives of the patients with which they work. Job Types:

Contract - Part-Time with a buildable schedule

Pay: $55.00-$70.00 per hour

License/Certification in the state of Florida

Work Location - Our office close to Florida Mall

OT - Occupational Therapist (1 Position Available)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' functional abilities and needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive skills.
  • Provide therapy services in clinic setting.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective discharge planning for patients transitioning from intensive care units (ICU) or other settings.
  • Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques and strategies to promote independence in daily activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy, including advancements in anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly in pediatric settings or early intervention programs is preferred.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to occupational therapy practices.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to adapt treatment approaches based on individual patient needs and progress.
