Job Description

National Sod and Turf Sales Agronomist –

TriYield, LLC is expanding and looking for a full-time Sod and Turf Sales Agronomist with expertise in sod production and plant nutrition. This is a great opportunity for a driven agronomy professional to build strong relationships with growers, provide technical expertise, and contribute to advancing turfgrass and agricultural solutions in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Educate growers on TriYield’s agronomic programs and nutrition solutions.
Drive growth through direct sales to sod farms and agricultural producers.
Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market reach.
Provide technical agronomic support to customers and internal teams.
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
Track sales activity and customer interactions using a CRM system.
Represent TriYield at trade shows, field days, and industry events.
Travel within the assigned territory, including overnight stays as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, Soil Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in sod production, turfgrass management, or agricultural sales.
In-depth knowledge of soil science, plant biology, and turfgrass nutrition.
Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools for sales tracking and reporting.
Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Southeast or Southwest United States
