Job Description

CoWorx Staffing is currently hiring for a Motorsports Operations Technician. The ideal candidate will support the Motorsports organization by providing mechanical, maintenance and logistical support for Motorcycles, ATV, and SxS. This position is located in Kennesaw, GA. The ideal candidate will be local to this area.

Essential Job Duties

  • Set-up, PDI, Break-in, Prepare, Maintain, and Repair motorsports products (MC / ATV / SxS)
  • Install accessories (engine & chassis) on all motorsports products and provide detailed feedback
  • Transport of vehicles, parts, etc. utilizing company trucks and trailers
  • Maintain an organized and clean working area
  • Procure units and spare parts (including competitive models)
  • Maintain support vehicles and trailers
  • Attend and support any on site mechanical needs for Motorsports

Decision Making Responsibilities:

  • Must have a strong work ethic and function independently with a high level of confidentiality & organizational skills.Must be able to multitask and prioritize multiple requests in a timely and positive manner.
  • Must have a strong mechanical knowledge of all motorsport’s vehicles and a high level of quality work.
  • Must be well organized and maintain a clean working environment.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25%

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Must have Technical Training/Education and a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
  • Must have valid driver’s license with MC endorsement.
  • Able to pass DOT physical for driving commercial vehicle between 10,000 and 26,000lbs (not CDL)
  • Must have ability to service and troubleshoot mechanical systems.
  • Must be a self-starter and be able to function with limited supervision.
  • Must be able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% including week-long/multi week-long trips on rare occasions. (air travel and weekends possible)
  • Must be able to use Excel, Word, and Power Point and communicate effectively via email.
