Responsibilities

• Define and implement metrology tools and characterization plans for next-generation products.
• Develop test methods related to sensor mechanical properties and interactions with system components.
• Identify strategic test development opportunities and create test roadmaps.
• Characterize mechanical properties of sensors to understand their role and performance.
• Conduct evaluations of products, processes, or new technologies through experimental builds, testing, and analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience in biomechanics or products interfacing with living tissue.
• Leadership skills and ability to lead complex, interdisciplinary projects.
• Effective communication skills for various audiences, including senior leadership.
• Strong problem-solving skills to break down complex problems.
• Ability to define metrology needs and map product requirements to measurement methods.
• Desire to mentor junior engineers.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodology and tools such as DOE and capability analyses.
• Ability to utilize statistical analyses for data-backed conclusions.
