Job Title: Medical Device Design Verification Engineer (W2 Only) - no c2c

Pay Rate: $45 to $48.51/HR

Duration: 18 months

Location: Laguna Canyon, CA (Onsite)

We are looking for an Medical Device Design Verification Engineer (W2 Only)

Applies knowledge of R&D engineering principles and methods to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and systems/procedures to optimize product development, internal and external device manufacturing, and device distribution. We are the sustaining group with a focus on supporting changes and improvements to commercialized products.

• Design verification and validation experience in the medical device industry
• Exposure to failure mode analysis .
• PPK, MLTL, or any base level knowledge of statistical tools or analysis (Minitab use).
• Test method validation
• Design verification (plans & protocols), reporting, and testing
• Data failure analysis on the design verification testing

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• Prior experience as an R&D in a medically regulated industry (Class II or III highly preferred)
• 3-4 years of experience required.

Skills:

• Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Team player and detail-oriented.
• Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
• Previous experience with computer applications and software related to the engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD).
