What You'll Do:
As a cross-functional Medical Scribe/Assistant, you'll work side-by-side with physicians, gaining first hand exposure to clinical decision-making, patient interactions, and medical documentation. You'll:
+ Scribe live during physician consultations, capturing critical details in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
+ Assist physicians with instruments and procedures, becoming a trusted clinical support.
+ Perform patient work-ups post-consultation, helping translate care plans into action.
+ Communicate directly with patients , reinforcing treatment plans and building rapport.

What You Bring:
+ 1+ years of on-site medical scribing experience
+ Bachelor's or Associate degree in a related field
+ Strong multitasking and communication skills
+ Proficiency in medical terminology and EMR systems
+ A passion for patient care and a drive to learn
The Details:
+ Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts between 6:00am-6:00pm
+ Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs, short/groomed nails, hair tied back
+ Specialty Focus: Ophthalmology and general healthcare

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
