Job Overview:

We are seeking qualified professionals to support a large-scale EPIC Fax Indexing project. The primary responsibility will be indexing and managing incoming medical documents within EPIC. As the project evolves, additional responsibilities within the EPIC/Inbasket workflow may be assigned.

Ideal candidates will have experience handling medical documentation and familiarity with EPIC, with strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fax indexing within EPIC with high accuracy and efficiency
• Identify and categorize various types of medical documents
• Support additional EPIC/Inbasket tasks as the project progresses
• Ensure timely processing and proper routing of patient information
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards
• Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow and productivity goals

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Prior EPIC experience - Required
• Experience working with medical documents and understanding document types - Required
• Medical Assistant (MA) background - Preferred
• Candidates with Front Desk or medical office experience will also be considered.
• BLS certification - Required
• MA certification - Preferred
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask. – Required
