Job Description

Mechatronics & Robotics Technician Wage: $20 - 37/hour

Position Summary:

The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician plays a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of Material Handling Equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering and technical teams to support various projects and ensure the efficient operation of machinery and automated systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Material Handling Equipment
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technical staff on project requirements and specifications.
  • Document all maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of work completed.
  • Assist in the training of staff on the operation and maintenance of robotic systems.
  • Stay updated on advancements in mechatronics and robotics technology to enhance skill sets.
  • Support safety standards and regulations throughout all operations.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system malfunctions.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of mechatronics and robotics principles.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Desired Experience:

  • Previous experience in a technical support role related to mechatronics or robotics.
  • Hands-on experience with installation and maintenance of automated systems.
  • Familiarity with industry software and tools used in robotics.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
