Job Title: Mechanical Applications Engineer

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: Based on experience (Junior to Senior levels considered)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Mechanical Applications Engineer to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK . The ideal candidate will bring a background in mechanical engineering and relevant experience working with heat exchangers, cooling towers, chillers, condensers, or related systems . This role involves technical solution development, customer interaction, and supporting sales with application-specific product recommendations.

We welcome candidates at junior, mid-level, or senior experience levels , and compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to develop application-specific engineering solutions
  • Analyze system requirements and recommend appropriate cooling or heat exchange technologies
  • Prepare technical proposals, equipment selections, and performance estimates
  • Support sales teams by providing technical consultation and solution validation
  • Interpret customer specifications and prepare submittals and drawings as needed
  • Assist in product lifecycle support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
  • Participate in project handoff meetings with production and service teams
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant industry standards, products, and technologies

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree and experience
  • Experience working with one or more of the following: cooling towers, heat exchangers, chillers, condensers, HVAC, or industrial thermal systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and engineering tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

  • Experience with mechanical system design, controls, or specification review
  • Experience in customer-facing roles
