Job Description

NOTE: This role is for second shift (3PM-11:30PM).

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks
• Repair general service production equipment
• Follow PM plan to maintain new equipment according to manufacturer’s recommendations
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical failure/issues
• Document detailed repair reports and records activities in the work order system
• Collect and assist with documentation of repair details, as directed by management, and for preparing and setting up for production after repair
• Manage tasking and lower level technicians
• Maintain shop cleanliness
• Accountable for professional interactions with all employees, including co-workers, team leads, supervisors, managers, and administration
• Responsible for safety as it pertains to daily tasks; PPE, GMPs, Etc
• Perform any and all other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent field, or minimum of 1 year of related experience with technical degree or certificate
• Ability to utilize illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operation manuals in the repair, modification and maintenance of equipment

Preferred Skills

• Ability to follow written and oral instruction
• Ability to analyze and correct mechanical and minor electrical issues associated with general production equipment
• Ability to arc weld/MIG weld
• Ability to utilize precision measurement equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical failures/issues
• Ability to lift sixty pounds
• Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, moisture and dirty environments
