Job Description

We are looking for a thorough full-time Maintenance Technician in San Antonio, TX. The position will undertake the responsibility of performing preventative maintenance on electrical mechanical equipment. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as designing and testing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing, programming, troubleshooting, modifying and/or repairing programmable controllers, robotics, and other electronic equipment.
  • Troubleshooting, replacing, and/or repairing machine components including cylinders, pumps, motors, spindles, fixtures, slides, valves, gear, switches, and bearings.
  • Experience with low or high voltage electricity
  • Designing and testing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and systems.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as maintenance technician
  • Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills

Bonus if you have:

  • Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Systems, Industrial Automation.
  • Experience or Certifications in HVAC, Low & Medium voltage power or Chemical systems.
  • Experience or Certifications in Reliability Centered Maintenance and/or Condition Based Monitoring techniques.
  • Knowledge of battery; cell/module; or similar experience in a highly automated production environment.
  • Experience within industrial processing (example: PLC programming, controls, IoT data collection / storage / analysis, mechanical precision, vision system, robot maintenance, etc.).
  • Experience with predictive maintenance through condition monitoring (for example: vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, current analysis, etc.).
  • Knowledge or experience with Lean Manufacturing principles (Shop Organization, Visualization, Problem Solving).
  • Knowledge or experience with Reliability Techniques: FMEA, RCM, etc.

Shift:

  • Rotating, Days, 5:30am to 2PM, Mid- 1:30PM to 10PM, Nights -9:30PM to 6:00PM (12 hr. shifts available)

Pay:

  • $33.00 - $44.00/hr.
