Description
The Director of Operations main responsibility will be to oversee the day-to-day operational functions of the company. This person will play a critical role in scaling operations, optimizing performance, and driving cross-functional execution to support our growth. You will be expected to maintain a strategic and results-focused mindset.
He/She will serve as a member of the Leadership Team, including monthly calls and meetings (virtual and on-site), and serve as an example of the company’s values and mission.
Responsibilities
-Translate strategy into operating plans. Turn OKRs/roadmaps into KPIs and weekly cadences.
-Lead and manage all operational aspects of the business, ensuring efficient systems, processes, and resource allocation.
-Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning across departments.
-Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and drive accountability.
-Seek process optimization. Spot bottlenecks, introduce systems, and scale repeatable playbooks.
-Lead change management efforts to drive operational transformation and efficiency.
-Collaborate with department heads to streamline internal workflows and communication.
-Design and implement policies that promote company culture and vision.
-Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations as well as internal policies.
-Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing staff.
Criteria Includes:
-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
-8+ years of progressive experience in operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
-Proven ability to develop operational strategies, manage cross-functional teams, and implement complex projects.
-Strong understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, and Operations.
-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
-Exceptional leadership and interpersonal abilities.
-Comfortable navigating both strategic planning and hands-on execution.
