A national law firm in Torrance, CA is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their growing complex civil litigation team. An expert in litigating complex civil litigation cases, the firm represents a wide variety of auto, medical device, consumer goods, and construction industries. This is an excellent Paralegal opportunity with a work-from-home flexibility of 2 days onsite/3 days remote.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, edit, and proofread a variety of documents (correspondence, agreements and pleadings).
• Assist attorneys with discovery, including discovery requests, depositions and issuing subpoenas.
• Assist with document review and analysis through various platforms.
• Manage electronic case files using a document management system (iManage) to ensure information is organized and easy to locate.
• Prepare for trial (including compiling trial materials, coordinating witnesses, preparing and issuing trial subpoenas, preparing and managing exhibits, attending trial).
• Meet a billable requirement of 1800 annually.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in a defense firm.
• Paralegal Certificate
• Capable of responding quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities
• Ability to travel nationwide to attend trial as needed
• Must be familiar with and able to follow client billing guidelines, enter and record accurate billing entries

The compensation range for this position is $90,000-$100,000+.
