Job Description

Small immigration law office located downtown Chicago concentrating in removal cases seeks bilingual (Spanish and English) legal assistant. 

Compensation depends upon experience.

Requirements and Expectations:

• Must be bilingual in Spanish and English
• Have a sense of urgency in completing one's tasks
• Prefer legal related experience (knowledge of immigration law a plus)
• Ideal candidate should be comfortable with frequent client interaction
• Work with Client management software
• Document and file review 
• Typing and filing
• Using existing system to move clients through process
• Assisting with high call volume
• Screening calls and taking messages
• Scheduling meetings and conferences
• Responding to questions from Clients
• Taking responsibility to get cases ready for attorney review
