Job Description

Seeking a Senior Specialist with 12 to 15 years of experience in Java and AWS API Gateway to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud native backend services and APIs

• Design and develop robust backend services using Java with a focus on performance, scalability, and security
• Utilize AWS API Gateway to build and manage scalable and secure RESTful APIs
• Implement microservices architecture to support modular and maintainable applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps and frontend developers, to deliver integrated solutions.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices and security compliance
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud native applications leveraging Java and AWS API Gateway.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot backend issues effectively.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CICD pipelines and automate deployments. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
• Engage with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability
• Ensure security standards and compliance are met in all development activities
