Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Lead Carpenter at DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen of East Georgia. As a Lead Carpenter, you will be responsible for executing the day-to-day tasks related to bathroom and kitchen remodeling projects. This includes performing skilled craftsmanship, working with various tools and materials, ensuring quality and accuracy in installations, collaborating with the design team, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

We are looking for people who communicate well and have good people skills. Someone who lives within 30-45 minutes of Swainsboro would be preferred. Values and character are important to us. We are looking for people who match up closely with us in these areas. A person’s character is even more important to us than having the exact skills that we are looking for. We believe that skills can always be learned and honed, but character is not something we can train into a person.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in carpentry, cabinetry, plumbing, electrical, and general construction
  • Experience in interpreting and executing design plans
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality throughout the project
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Physical strength and stamina for lifting and working with heavy materials
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients professionally
  • Prior experience in the remodeling industry is a plus
  • Valid driver's license
