Kelly is hiring an Associate Laboratory Technician for a 6 -month Contract role with one of our prestigious clients based out in Troy, MI 48083.
Job Title: Associate Laboratory Technician
Location: Job Location is at Troy Site: 1150 Allen Drive Troy, MI 48083
Employment Type: 6-month contract
Pay rate: $21-23.50/hr.
Shift: 7 am – 4 pm
Qualifications:
• Excellent safety record and fundamental knowledge of pilot plant and or laboratory safety
• Experience in lab operations, including use of computer control
• Mechanical aptitude for operating and troubleshooting lab equipment
• Ability to run or learn to run analytical tests required to support pilot plant operations
• Excellent teamwork with the ability to manage all aspects of executing test plans supporting required by run engineers/technical liaisons.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
Responsibilities:
• Safely operate and maintain Lab equipment
• Provide support for third party vendors performing required equipment calibration
• Conduct lab test according to lab testing procedures
• Record test results on computerized SPC charts
• Communicate with operators and business group representatives
• Maintain lab supplies
• Attend unit pre-trial meetings
• Participate in equipment safety reviews
• Work independently as the only testing technician in the lab
