Job Description

Lab Technician Contractor

Location: Torrance, CA (100% onsite)


Duration: 6-Month Contract


Pay: $22-26/hr


Schedule: Standard Working Hours

Responsibilities:

• Support the technician team to fabricate or modify existing test fixtures.
• Provide electrical and mechanical support for prototype builds.
• Maintain test equipment in operational condition by performing routine maintenance and making minor repairs/adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for the Test and Validation lab by strictly adhering to all established safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of technician work experience in a product development environment (electrical test lab preferred).
• Strong mechanical ability and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong organizational and clerical skills.
• Operation of pallet jack and/or forklift preferred.
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
• Basic electrical and mechanical repair preferred.
• Basic fabrication experience preferred.
