Title: Internal Medicine Residency Hospitalist Faculty Position
Location: Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center, Athens, Georgia
Overview: Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center, a distinguished 427-bed non-profit hospital and regional referral center, invites applications for a Internal Medicine Residency Faculty Member position. Serving an extensive 17-county region in Athens and northeast Georgia, our center provides a Level II trauma center, a Level III NICU, and a vast network of esteemed primary care physicians and specialists dedicated to delivering comprehensive care to patients across all age groups.

Role Requirements: - Board Certification in Internal Medicine (ABIM or AOBIM).
- Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Georgia.
- At least two years of clinical experience preferred, with openness to considering emerging talents in the field.
- A strong dedication to comprehensive and compassionate patient care.
Role Details: - The role is primarily academic/administrative with a clinical practice component.
- Key responsibilities include mentoring and guiding residents, supervising residents as an Academic Hospitalist, delivering both small group and lecture-based education, and serve as an advisor to residents.
