Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and creative Interior Design & Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting both our design and marketing efforts, ensuring that our design presentations are both polished and impactful, and helping elevate the brand’s presence across various media platforms. This hybrid role will provide essential support to the design team, while also supporting aspects of the company's marketing and social media strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Interior Design Studio Management: • Oversee the organization of the design studio, including ongoing sample library management and coordination of vendor meetings to review new product lines.
  • Maintain strong relationships with showrooms and workrooms to ensure smooth project execution and access to the latest materials and trends.

Interior Design & Design Presentation Support:

• Assist the design team in creating and compiling all design presentations, ensuring consistency, clarity, and high-quality visuals:

o Creating Digital Space Plans o Ordering and organizing fabric, paint, and finish memos.

o Preparing Live Sample Boards for Client Review o Preparing 2D elevations & Digital Mood Boards.

o Assisting with the creation of 3D models. o Designing Product Selection Sheets for client presentations.

o Creating presentation PowerPoint slides and, when needed, client presentation binders.

• Attend client meetings, helping with the presentation load-in and load-out, taking notes for follow-up actions, and providing on-site support. 

Marketing & Branding:

• Manage and update the company’s social media presence, including creating and posting content on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

• Collaborate with potential external agents or manage social media efforts entirely in-house.

• Develop and execute quarterly outreach programs targeting builders, architects, and realtors, expanding and refining the strategy and frequency over time.

Interior Design & Design Team Support & Administrative Tasks:

• Assist design team in product sourcing

• Act as a liaison between the lead designer and the rest of the design team, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflow.

  • Maintain the lead designer’s calendar, scheduling meetings and appointments as needed. • Assist with order management and collaborate with project managers to ensure all orders are placed and tracked. • Create project updates during weekly team meeting and send to clients.
  • Provide general administrative support, ensuring timely communication, organization, and project tracking.

On-Site Support:

• Assist the design team during installations and photo shoots, ensuring that everything runs smoothly.

• Help coordinate and organize logistics, manage sample boards, and ensure presentations and installations reflect the IDH and client vision. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from an accredited university or a Design Certification combined with relevant field experience (minimum 2.5 years).

• At least 2.5 years of experience in residential design is a plus. However, recent graduates with exceptional poise, maturity, and strong organizational skills will also be considered.

• Proficiency in technical tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Photoshop, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and web-based applications.

• Experience with time tracking, email management, and rendering programs.

• Comfortable using social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Exceptional organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment.

• Reliable transportation required.

Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM (remote on Mondays)

• Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (in-office) • 30-minute lunch break; early departure on Fridays to encourage work-life balance. Salary & Benefits:

• Competitive base salary based on experience.
