Job Description

Adams & Martin Group is seeking an Intellectual Property Clerk to join a busy law firm. This is a direct hire opportunity with a fully onsite work model.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and track patent and trademark dockets.
• Create and deliver trademark status reports to clients.
• Prepare legal forms as required.
• Organize and maintain client files and electronic records.
• Keep track of client file progress and task completion.
• Perform due diligence by researching patent and trademark databases.
• Provide support to IP attorneys on assigned projects.
• Handle administrative duties related to the IP-Trademark practice.
• Assist with department operations and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in a legal setting, ideally in IP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems (iManage experience a plus).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
