Position Overview:

Duggan Mechanical Services is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused HVAC Inside Sales professional to support our growing service department. This role is responsible for reviewing service recommendations, generating quotes, following up with customers, and ensuring smooth project transitions from sales to operations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a dynamic, team-based environment.

Core Responsibilities:

• Review recommendations submitted by HVAC field technicians
• Estimate costs and prepare customer quotes based on recommendations
• Follow up with customers on outstanding quotes to facilitate decision-making
• Receive and process signed proposals from customers
• Order necessary parts and follow up on all open purchase orders
• Transition sold projects to the operations team for scheduling and execution
• Occasionally visit job sites to assess installation requirements
• Communicate with field technicians to gather detailed installation information

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with senior management and team members
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Clear and professional communication with customers and department managers
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Strong self-motivation and initiative
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple activities

• Keen attention to detail
• Results-driven with a focus on achieving successful outcomes
• HVAC Sales & Estimating Experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new software systems

Safety Responsibilities:

• Champion and uphold corporate safety standards across all assigned job sites
• Execute routine safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety protocols
• Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate safety risks; implement corrective actions in real time
• Verify field personnel are trained, equipped, and consistently utilizing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Partner with the Safety Department to roll out safety initiatives, monitor compliance metrics, and support incident investigations
• Demonstrate leadership by modeling and reinforcing a zero-compromise, safety-first culture at all levels of field operations

Schedule:

• Based in Canton, MA
• Full time
• Monday – Friday

Compensation:

• Base salary $65,000.00 - $85,000.00
• Discretionary annual bonus
