HPLC Field Service Engineer (FSE)

Atlanta, GA

STOP! – are you a field-based engineer currently servicing Liquid Chromatography systems OR are you experienced using HPLC/UPLC/UHPLC in the lab and looking to do something a little different? If yes, look no further. We have a wonderful opportunity to join an international manufacturer of scientific instrumentation who are looking for an FSE to work on HPLCs with ‘unique’ detectors throughout the US from a home base in Georgia.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installation, preventative maintenance, and repair of electro-mechanical equipment related to radiochemistry and liquid chromatography
• Communicate effectively with customers and provide professional service within required response times
• Document and report all repairs & product service issues in a clear and timely fashion
• Manage the repair part inventory for technical equipment in your region
• Maintain knowledge in the use and application of current and new product offerings
• Local travel within South and Southeast but comfortable traveling nationwide as needed

Candidate Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or in the lab working with analytical instrumentation
• Proficiency with problem solving and troubleshooting HPLCs (this is ESSENTIAL)
• Self-motivated working style with the ability to meet required target times
• Excellent communication skills; patience with customers

Salary:

• Total compensation of $65-80K base + bonus
