Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Home Loan Specialist to join our mortgage lending team. The ideal candidate will guide clients through the home loan process, from application to closing, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of mortgage products and lending regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in selecting appropriate home loan products based on their financial needs and goals.
  • Evaluate loan applications, credit reports, income documentation, and property details.
  • Provide clear and accurate information about loan terms, interest rates, and repayment options.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and internal lending policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and real estate professionals to facilitate timely loan closings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.
  • Stay current with market trends, lending regulations, and new mortgage products.
  • Meet or exceed sales and service goals.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in mortgage lending, banking, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of home loan products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in loan origination software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System) registration required.
