Machine Engineer-Welding Engineer

Location : Reno,NV

Candidates need to go China for Training

Minimum Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the basic principles and processes of laser welding.
• Knowledge of mainstream laser welding machine equipment, related interfaces, debugging software, and network protocols, and the ability to use them.
• Understanding of laser welding safety standards and the ability to manage and improve laser welding safety.
• Proficiency in laser welding process parameters, with the ability to adjust and optimize these parameters to achieve desired product quality.
• Awareness of common faults and troubleshooting methods for laser welding machines, with the ability to identify and repair faulty machines and perform ongoing maintenance.
• Ability to identify on-site welding machine issues and design additional optimization and improvement needs for the machines.

Essential Functions:

• Welding Process Tracking: Monitor welding processes, including selecting appropriate welding parameters and developing Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR). Ensure welding processes comply with international standards (such as AWS, ISO) and on-site requirements.
• Welding Quality Control: Supervise the welding production process to ensure welding quality meets design and process requirements. Assist in resolving quality issues that arise during welding and propose and track the implementation of improvement measures.
• Equipment Maintenance and Management: Be responsible for the selection, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of welding equipment to ensure its normal operation. Regularly calibrate and maintain welding equipment to extend its service life and reduce downtime due to failures.
