We are a leading Wealth Tech firm and Turnkey Asset Management Platform (TAMP), providing RIAs, broker-dealers, and wealth management firms with an integrated, end-to-end technology and investment platform. Our offerings include institutional trading services, model portfolio delivery, SMAs, direct indexing, and alternative investments.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Head Trader to lead and expand our institutional trade desk. This critical role oversees all trading operations for us and the RIAs utilizing our platform, delivering institutional-grade execution across equities, fixed income, derivatives, alternatives, and structured products. The Head Trader will ensure best execution, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth of our trading capabilities, serving as a key differentiator for our TAMP and technology platform.

Responsibilities

• Trading Leadership – Oversee and manage all trading operations across asset classes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and best execution.
• Institutional Trade Desk – Lead the institutional trading services available to all RIAs using the our platform, optimizing execution and support.
• Strategic Execution – Develop and implement trading strategies aligned with advisor and platform needs, including SMAs, direct indexing, and alternative investments.
• Custodian Expertise – Execute trades seamlessly across Pershing LLC, Fidelity, and Charles Schwab, maintaining strong relationships with custodians, counterparties, and liquidity providers.
• Technology & Automation – Enhance trading infrastructure through automation, algorithmic trading, and process improvements for scale and efficiency.
• Regulatory & Risk Management – Ensure compliance with SEC, FINRA, Reg BI, and other regulations, implementing best practices in risk management.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with product, technology, compliance, investment, and operations teams to integrate trading into the ecosystem.
• Advisory Support – Provide market insights and execution strategies to RIAs and wealth management firms leveraging our platform.
• Team Leadership – Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing trading team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Qualifications, skills, and experience

• 10+ years of experience in trading across equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternatives.
• Deep expertise in the TAMP industry, institutional trading, SMAs, and direct indexing.
• Strong knowledge of Pershing, Fidelity, and Charles Schwab trading platforms and operational workflows.
• Proven ability to optimize trade execution, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Strong understanding of market structure, execution trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with trading technology, algorithmic execution, and FIX/API integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, scale operations, and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
• Series 65 license is required.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Scottsdale, AZ.
• The company cannot sponsor a Visa.
