Job Description

Full-Time | Starting Pay: $62,400 Annually

Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday (Hours may vary based on business needs)

Weekly Earned Wage Access Available

Position Summary

As Chef de Cuisine , you will be accountable for leading kitchen operations and driving results through exceptional food quality, efficient resource management, and team performance. You will play a key role in elevating guest satisfaction, controlling costs, and ensuring culinary standards align with brand goals. This position reports to the Executive Sous Chef.

Key Performance Objectives

  • Deliver Consistently Excellent Culinary Experiences

Execute high-quality meals in accordance with recipes and guest preferences, maintaining strong presentation and taste standards.

  • Drive Operational Efficiency

Oversee food cost, waste, inventory, and production workflows to meet or exceed profitability targets while minimizing downtime and product loss.

  • Develop and Lead High-Performing Teams

Provide hands-on coaching and training for kitchen staff to improve skills, maintain high morale, and support internal growth.

  • Ensure Compliance and Safety Standards

Monitor food handling practices and kitchen operations to ensure strict adherence to ServSafe guidelines and cleanliness standards.

  • Support Strategic Goals

Analyze kitchen performance metrics, anticipate trends, and implement innovative solutions to align with evolving business objectives.

  • Adapt to Business Needs

Maintain flexibility and responsiveness in a dynamic environment, including adjusting priorities based on volume, guest feedback, and staffing.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Formal culinary training from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • Current ServSafe Certification required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine in a high-volume casino/resort, hotel, or major restaurant chain.
  • Proven ability to lead a team, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high performance under pressure.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess trends and drive continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
