This is not just a job — it’s an opportunity to build the foundation of our in-house shop team and grow into a Shop Manager role as we expand. We are currently building a state-of-the-art terminal and repair facility in Hamburg, PA, designed to make preventative maintenance and diagnostics efficient, safe, and streamlined. 🔑 Position Overview The Fleet Mechanic / Diagnostic Specialist will: Perform preventive maintenance inspections (PMI) and keep equipment DOT-compliant Diagnose and repair transmissions, clutches, suspensions, electrical systems, and emissions (DPF/DEF) components Carry out routine services including oil changes, brakes, and suspension repairs Work on Kenworth, Volvo, Freightliner tractors and Carrier/Thermo King refrigerated trailers Collaborate with ownership to help shape the shop’s procedures, efficiency, and standards Note: Major engine rebuilds and heavy internal engine work will be sent to dealerships.
