The FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Manager will play a critical role in driving the financial strategy, planning, and performance management of the organization. This role will be responsible for overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of financial principles within a professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Lead the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Provide insightful analysis of financial performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting key trends and variances.

Strategic Business Partnering:

  • Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and recommendations to optimize performance.
  • Support executive leadership with financial analysis, reporting, and scenario planning.
  • Drive strategic initiatives, including profitability analysis, cost management, and resource allocation.

Reporting & Presentations:

  • Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Process Improvement:

  • Implement best practices in financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial systems and tools to improve efficiency and data accuracy.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage and develop a high-performing FP&A team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence within the finance team.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a professional services environment
  • 2+ years proven experience in a leadership role managing FP&A functions

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with proficiency in Excel and financial planning software (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or similar).
  • BI experience highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Strong business acumen with a strategic and analytical mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Certifications:

  • CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certifications are a plus but not required.
