Job Title: Finance Manager

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting and finance, with a strong proficiency in SAP. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience, including forecasting, budgeting, month-end close support, and decision support. The Finance Manager will play a critical role in managing financial operations, providing strategic insights, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the monthly close process to ensure complete, accurate, and timely financial results.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and support various projects.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, GAAP, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and implementing recommendations.
• Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Mentor and develop junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Utilize SAP for financial reporting, analysis, and process improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Strong proficiency in SAP.
• Experience with month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and decision support.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
