The Executive Assistant position is primarily responsible for providing all administrative support in an efficient and professional manner. Candidate must be able to work independently with little or no supervisory direction.

The selected candidate will be eligible for company benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Paid Time Off (PTO).

Essential Job Functions

  • Position will require candidate to work out of our Carlsbad, NM office Mon-Thurs, with occasional trips to our field office in Orla, TX
  • Provide complete administrative support for up to two Senior Executives
  • Expert calendar management of complex and fast-moving schedules
  • Professionally answer phones and relay messages in a timely manner
  • Manage/Plan/Execute all travel arrangements
  • Proactively coordinate logistics for internal and external meetings
  • Flexible schedule to assist with corporate events, including occasional early mornings or evenings
  • Personal support for senior executives as requested

Knowledge & Skills

  • Interact in a friendly and professional manner with all levels of staff
  • Effective multi-tasking, problem solving, and time management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills; strong attention to detail; ability and flexibility to handle new tasks and shifting deadlines
  • Must have excellent editing, proofreading, grammar, spelling, and outstanding communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to handle high-volume workload
  • Experience organizing electronic files in systems like SharePoint
  • Expert MS Office proficiency: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Very comfortable using and learning the latest office technologies (Audio Visual Equipment, MS Teams, webinars, video conferencing, etc.)
  • Personal effectiveness/credibility/punctuality

Education / Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience supporting senior management; preferably within the Oil & Gas Industry
  • This position is not eligible for employment-based visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of their employment
