Volt is immediately hiring an
Industrial Engineer in
Forest City, IA with a well-known industry leader.
This is a first shift position. As an Industrial Engineer you will:
- Be Responsible for providing analysis and project management support for the Distribution organization.
- Identify improvement opportunities, supporting the growth and development of the distribution network.
- Coordinate and manage the implementation of improvements.
- Establish and maintain engineered labor standards across the Distribution network based on best practices.
- Provide functional support for the Warehouse Management System, including Labor Management, Slotting and Reporting.
- Build staffing planning models to aid in DC management and Distribution network planning.
- Assist in determining metrics to guide Supply Chain management.
Estimated Duration 24+ months
The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable engineering discipline.
Pay Rate: $33.59 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
