Pay Rate: $24-$25.00 per hr

Are you ready to elevate your career and redefine how you deliver care? Join Amphibious Medics , the nation’s largest network of EMS professionals, and make a tangible impact in an exciting and growing industry. Step away from the grind of back-to-back ambulance calls or the repetitive nature of a hospital setting. Instead, expand your scope of practice, grow your expertise in Occupational Medicine , and earn the prestigious title of Health & Safety Medical Technician (HSMT) .

Amphibious Medics specializes in on-site first response, health, and safety services for some of the country’s most vital construction projects and high-profile media productions. As an On-Site EMT , you’ll play a critical role in keeping workers safe while gaining unparalleled experience in proactive health and safety management. • Broaden Your Expertise : Learn and apply the principles of Occupational Medicine , helping workers stay safe and healthy while gaining valuable industry certifications.
  • Be a Trusted Partner : Collaborate closely with Health & Safety teams to create safer work environments, positively impacting entire worksites.

What You’ll Do

  • Be Calm in Emergencies : Assess situations, make sound decisions, and respond swiftly to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Maintain Records : Accurately document patient care and maintain medical records databases for the site.
  • Support Safety Efforts : Participate in site Health & Wellness programs, deliver medical and safety awareness training, and conduct site walk-throughs.
  • Coordinate Health Initiatives : Help organize on-site health fairs and wellness events.
  • Be a Key Communicator : Liaise with outside medical providers and the site management team to ensure seamless care and recovery processes.
  • Site Assessment : We strive to support our clients in the field, not in the office! You will spend 65% of your day actively engaging with the workers.

What You Bring

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to walk a job site including climbing stairs while carrying a backpack up to 35 pounds in all weather conditions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum one year of full-time experience in 911 emergency medical response.
  • Ability to lift/carry at least 35 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

  • Valid National Registry or State EMT Certification.
