Job Description

Day to day:

Insight Global’s top data client is seeking an Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the electrical equipment at the data center. Responsibility includes making sure the designs are executed and providing feedback to the design team if there are any issues with their current project. They will interface with the general contraction (GC) company, electrical GC, vendors, and design teams.

Must Haves:

• 7-10 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
• Hyperscale data center or mission critical (gas & oil, power plant, etc.) experience
• Experience following and executing electrical designs
• Experience with low, medium, or high voltage electrical equipment (substation, or paralleling switchgear, protective relays, HMI systems, power quality meters, and power monitoring systems, etc.)

Compensation:

$70/hr to $85/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
