Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Hybrid onsite with several years of experience in manufacturing, Application analyst, and development. Proficiency in MS Dynamics 365 BC software. Design and code functional programs, reports and applications using MS Visual Studio, Power BI, C#, AL, SSIS, SSRS or other tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Develop custom features and functionalities using AL, Extensions, C#, and other tools in the Microsoft stack to extend Dynamics 365 BC.
• Integrate Dynamics 365 BC with other applications, ensuring smooth data flow and accurate reporting.
• Analyze Business and manufacturing processes: Understand and analyze the business needs to create effective solutions.
• Collaborate with team to create accurate dashboards, reports and applications.
• Perform appropriate testing before release.
• Trouble shoot and debug programs, applications, and reports.
• Resolve help desk issues for team members
• Evaluate existing applications to improve efficiency.
• Develop technical documents to accurately represent application design and code.
• Provide back-up and/or afterhours support for other IT Team members.
• Assist the IT Team in the development, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade and support of company services and systems.
• Corroborate in the creation, implementation and adherence to IT policies and procedures, including those for security, disaster recovery, and best practices as they relate to the department and the organization.
• Assist in research on emerging technology solutions in support of new initiatives and opportunities.
• Assist with security management of systems and enterprise information.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Three to five years of experience working in related field.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 BC functionally and administratively.
• Proficient in AL, C#, and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI).
• Experience with manufacturing processes.
• Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• The employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position.
• The employee may occasionally be required to traverse within the facility.
• The employee may be required to ascend/descend and position themselves around equipment, tools, and fixturing.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

• Position will function in an office environment.
• The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
• The work environment is occasionally dusty.
