Job Description

Love dogs? Great. Have professional, hands-on experience handling them? Keep reading!

Tailored Pet Services is looking for an experienced Dog Walker & Daycare Attendant to join our company family and stay with us for years. If your idea of “dog experience” is binge-watching puppy videos or taking great care of your own dog—this isn’t the job for you. But if you’ve spent 1+ years professionally walking, supervising, or caring for dogs (daycare, vet tech, training, etc.), we want to meet you!

Why We’re Different:
At Tailored Pet Services, you’re more than just an employee—you’re part of a team where your voice matters. Our management believes in full transparency, including sharing the previous year’s financials. We provide a clear breakdown of expenses, including payroll as a percentage, and a transparent look at sales, so employees understand exactly where the revenue comes from (rates listed on our website) and how the company operates.

We also empower our staff with knowledge and support, allowing them to provide the best possible experience for our clients and their pets. While we don’t want to lose great employees, we believe in helping them grow—whether that means advancing within our company or pursuing new opportunities. We’ve even helped an employee get into dog training school and launch her own business!

Life happens, and while drama isn’t welcome, we understand that what’s going on outside of work can impact how you do your job. That’s why we focus on respect, communication, and teamwork.

The Job:

  • Dog Walking (60%) – Drive to clients’ homes, walk dogs (up to 100 lbs) in all weather conditions, and confidently handle leash-reactive pups.
  • Daycare Supervision (40%) – Lead playgroups, prevent chaos before it starts, and keep the fun structured & safe.

Why You’ll Love It:

  • $18-$20/hr DOE + Paid Sick Leave & Pet Care Discounts
  • Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM (Weekends are for you!)
  • Active, hands-on work—no desk, no boredom!
  • A team that actually understands dog hair is a fashion statement

Who We’re Looking For:

  • 1+ years of professional, hands-on dog experience required (caring for your own dog doesn’t count!)
  • Must live within 15 minutes of McCollum Park (Everett)
  • 18+ with a valid driver’s license & reliable car
  • Physically & mentally ready (walking, lifting, reading dog body language) – Full task list:
  • Dependable & committed – We’re looking for a long-term teammate, not a short-term visitor!

If you can spot the difference between a playful zoomie and a brewing scuffle, we’d love to hear from you! Apply now and let’s make tails wag!
