Job Description

Overview:

The Dispatcher & Operations Assistant is a front-line support role ensuring technicians are properly dispatched, jobs are tracked, and customer service is responsive. Inbound customer calls are often stressful and confusing, an ideal candidate is calm under pressure and is always courteous and clear to our customers. Responsibilities also include assisting executives with administrative tasks, maintaining organized records, and ensuring smooth office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage dispatch boards and assign callback, repair, and mod tickets to technicians
  • Communicate job updates, hours, and instructions with technicians and supervisors
  • Resolve ticket errors and maintain accuracy of technician job data
  • Create follow-up tickets for weekend/emergency calls
  • Assist with technician support tasks, including binder preparation and CAT 1 test scheduling
  • Provide front-office coverage: phones, customer billing/scheduling questions, and mail
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of office space and meeting rooms
  • Handle all inbound/outbound deliveries and supplies
  • Transfer phones nightly to answering service

Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years’ experience in dispatching, administrative support, or customer service
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Reliable, proactive, and capable of independent task execution
  • Proficiency in Phone Etiquette and Communication
  • Strong Clerical Skills and organizational abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent ability to use software systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications and experience are a plus

Compensation:

$18-22/Hr based on Experience and Fit
