VUNO is seeking a Director of Market Access to lead reimbursement and market access strategies for our Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of building and executing U.S. market access strategies for innovative digital health and AI-driven medical products.

We are looking for the expertise in navigating hospital reimbursement dynamics across inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as securing new technology add-on payments (NTAP) and other reimbursement pathways.

 

Responsibilities

📌 Develop and implement reimbursement strategies specific to SaMD and AI-based medical technologies, including NTAP and other programs.

📌 Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital stakeholders across revenue cycle, billing/coding, finance, clinical operations, and quality.

📌 Oversee reimbursement support processes that enable sales teams and accounts to successfully market and adopt VUNO’s AI solutions.

📌 Conduct research into emerging reimbursement models in digital health and AI-based diagnostics.

📌 Partner with medical societies, policy groups, and 3rd party advisors to influence reimbursement pathways for AI in healthcare.

📌 Support new product launches by identifying reimbursement opportunities in new clinical segments and coding frameworks.

 

Requirements/Qualifications

📌 Bachelor’s degree in Health Policy, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.

📌 Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Market Access, Reimbursement, or Health Economics in medical devices, diagnostics, or digital health.

📌 Deep knowledge of U.S. reimbursement systems, including NTAP, DRG, APC, CPT/HCPCS coding, and payer engagement.

📌 Prior experience with digital health / SaMD reimbursement strategies strongly preferred.

📌 Demonstrated ability to develop payer evidence strategies for AI-driven technologies.
