Job Description

Summary:

Service Technicians are technically skilled service technician to travel to our customers’ job sites to perform equipment and machine repairs. The service technician's responsibilities include traveling to customers' locations, re-motely accessing equipment, and performing routine maintenance. The service technician will install and test products and provide customers with instructions on the proper usage of the product.

To be successful as a service technician, you should have excellent technical and mechanical skills. You should have experience with basic hand, power, and diagnostic tools, and you should be physically fit to lift heavy equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Make assigned customer calls.
  • Determine parts, supplies or tools needed to complete service requests.
  • Relay any special problems to Service Manager following each call.
  • Ensure that standard responses are met.
  • Load, deliver, install, spec, and train customers on the use and basic maintenance of equipment.
  • Use, maintain and secure test devices and tools used to adjust, calibrate and repair equipment
  • Complete all required paperwork (time sheets, service orders, etc.)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills/Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and clean background check required.
  • Field repair in a commercial construction environment.
  • Carpentry/plumbing/heating/electricity/electronics/drywall/painting/mechanical related experience required
  • Must be able to lift 100lbs.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Be able to read and speak English
  • Must be team oriented and solution oriented, with a proactive, professional, positive attitude.
  • Candidates must be safety-oriented in all situations and environments.
