SUMMARY
Provides a variety of Commercial Real Estate and Commercial Loan documentation duties related to the processing, administration servicing and closing of new and existing loans in two or more of the following areas: Commercial Real Estate Loans, Lines of Credits, and Commercial Loans. Also, from time to time, duties include processing and closing of retail / consumer loans.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Understand commitment letters and internal approval forms to prepare or review loan documents for compliance with approval.
• Clear pre-closing conditions as set forth in commitment letters.
• Clear up new loan documentation exceptions and line of credit advance exceptions within guidelines and clear post-closing pending items and exceptions.
• Process loan and advance funding with G/L entries, debits and credits, wire transfers, internal transfers, loan payments, and resolving loan disbursement issues.
• Prepare pre-closing documentation for commercial and consumer and loans, Flood Certification/disclosures, approval review, HUD1s, and other pre-closing statement review and preparation.
• Prepare memos to file, letters, commitment letters, and any other documentation required by lender addressing loan approvals, exception issues and post-closing monitoring of pending items in coordination with Bank’s attorneys.
• Review bank’s attorney loan packages and have Credit Administration approve prior to closing. Make corrections to documents and advice attorney.
• Coordinate with depository account officers gathering documentation and information and obtain BSA approval prior to closing loans.
• Assist loan officers as required with closing coordination and setting up closing dates.
• Prepare participation loan packages to sell loans to other banks, obtain executed Confidentiality Agreements and other loan participation documentation for processing.
• Prepare loan documentation in Compliance-One software application.
• Gather and input HMDA loan data for further review by Compliance Officer.
• Obtain required insurance policies with required endorsements and coverages i.e. flood, windstorm, hazard, liability and others.
• Maintain high degree of confidentiality.
• Prepare closings-in-process reports, prepare post-closing exception reports and aging report for exception items with follow up with loan officers and attorneys.
• Conduct research.
• Serves as back-up to Credit Administration Assistant, when absent.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory duties.
BSA COMPLIANCE
Each employee is required to uphold the Bank’s compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering policies and procedures. Specific functions in the Bank take into consideration the awareness of unusual or suspicious situations that are relevant to the banking division to which I will be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• AA in business administration or equivalent; and at least 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must possess a solid knowledge of banking regulations relating specifically to loan documentation and BSA compliance
• Must possess a working knowledge of basic business and commercial real estate law principles to review and analyze loan documentation, including contracts, security agreements, promissory notes, mortgages, credit agreements and lease agreements
• Proficient in verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient Excel, Word, Power Point, Access and other applications in order to create reports, charts, spreadsheets and presentations for statistical reporting purposes.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is desirable.
• Must be accurate and detailed oriented.
• Work involves reading and concentration via typing and proofreading activities.
• Good communication skills both verbal/written
