Responsibilities
- Construction : Follow blueprints to build frameworks, walls, floors, and doorframes
- Installation : Install cabinets, doors, windows, molding, and other fixtures
- Repair : Inspect and replace damaged structures and fixtures
- Troubleshooting : Troubleshoot construction issues with the project team
- Safety : Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and workplace safety regulations
- Design : Design and prepare drawings for cabinetry, framing, and other projects
- Measurement : Take measurements and prepare the site for woodwork
- Costing : Calculate costs and quotes for customers
- Client liaison : Meet with clients, suppliers, and other tradesmen
