Brewery Taproom Customer Service Manager :

Job Title: Brewery Taproom Assistant Manager

Location: Highside Brewing - Frisco & Breckenridge

Reports To: Operations Director / General Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour DOE + Tipped Shifts

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a friendly, motivated, customer service and hospitality-focused individual to join our team as a Taproom Assistant Manager . This role supports the Director of Operations and GM in day-to-day operations of our brewery taproom with a strong focus on customer experience, staff support, and ensuring smooth service. You’ll help lead a team in delivering exceptional service that reflects the culture and values of our brewery. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding service and hospitality to guests at all times
• Support the Ops Director in daily operations, including opening/closing duties
• Lead by example on the floor; assist staff during busy shifts and resolve customer issues professionally
• Train and mentor taproom staff on SOP’s, customer service standards, and brand messaging
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations
• Maintain knowledge of all beer and food offerings and educate staff and customers accordingly
• Assist with scheduling, inventory, orders, and cash handling as needed
• Act as MOD when the Operations Director is not present
• Help plan and execute taproom events and promotions
• Promote a welcoming, inclusive, and team-driven environment

Requirements:

• Previous management experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or taproom/brewery setting
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving ability
• Full-time - Year-round availability
• Possess transportation with willingness to shuttle inventory between our three locations
• Self motivated with a high attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
• Cicerone Certified Beer Server or willingness to obtain
• ServeSafe & Tips Certification or willingness to obtain 
• Knowledge of craft beer culture and a passion for independent brewing
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
